a feast of love
In Greek, agape denotes the highest form of love - unconditional, pure, given without expectation. When choosing a name for our restaurant, we knew it was the only right one.
Nestled in the heart of Medjugorje, surrounded by stone walls and the scent of olive oil, we created a space where food is not just a meal - it is an act of sharing. Every plate carries care, every bite tells a story.
Our kitchen blends the richness of Herzegovinian tradition with Mediterranean lightness: fresh ingredients, wood-fired pizza, grilled dishes and fresh fish, and heart in every recipe.

When is Restaurant Agape open?
Agape is open every day from 08:00 to 23:00. You are welcome for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as coffee or homemade ice cream between meals.
How far is Agape from St. James Church?
We are at Franjevačkih mučenika 12, in the heart of Medjugorje, about 200 metres from St. James Parish Church. You can easily walk to us after Mass.
How can I reserve a table?

Yes, we offer trout, tuna fillet, salmon and squid with Mediterranean sides. Alongside meat dishes and pizzas, fish is an important part of our menu.

Yes. Our spacious interior and sharing platters make us a good fit for larger groups and pilgrimage parties. Feel free to contact us in advance so we can prepare tailored courses for your group.

Yes, we make our own homemade ice cream in several flavours. A scoop is 4 KM (2 EUR) and is a perfect sweet finish to a meal or a refreshment while walking through Medjugorje.
